scripture block, I was struck by how few footnotes there were. Like if you go to,

if you look at second Nephi chapter nine, almost a third of the page of each of the pages is

taken up by footnotes. But there's a scarcity of footnotes here, which seems to imply that there's

something in the stories that we should learn.

this that is so heavy in the story, there aren't a lot of doctrinal speeches.
