Questions, comments, rude remarks.

That was something that my dad, who taught at a university for 38 years as a professor

of fine art, used to throw out at the end of a lot of his classes

just to give his students one last chance to respond or debate, right?

I've got a whole bunch of questions and comments piling up on

Instagram on Facebook and so forth. No really rude remarks. A few argumentive ones, and pretty interesting stuff, but anyway, I just wanted

to take some time and cover several of these.

The three most response generating episodes I've done in the last half a year or so are the

30-06 versus 270. Long-range hunting, good, bad, or situational. And the recent one, lever actions

for backcountry hunting. Really happy to see that in particular just because while I'm kind of a performance oriented

guy for the most part when I'm backcountry hunting, I really love vintage firearms. I love Americana and the firearm types we've generated here our forefathers and

the frontiersmen the mountain men buffalo hunters, all of these guys, right?

So just cool to see that that's got such a great response.

So we'll talk about lover actions, we'll talk about long range a little bit.

We're going to talk about optimal zero distances and more.

Funny now, speaking of rude remarks, the first thing I want to just share with you is a comment on Facebook.

On the Backcountry Hunting Podcast, Facebook page, from a fellow named Brad Boit Eichir, I'm not sure how that's pronounced, I hope that's kind of close, B-O-T-E-I-C-E-E-R.

And while surprising in its content, it means quite a lot to me.
