Welcome to Significant Others. I'm Liza Powell O'Brien. And right now, while we put together

0:07.0

Season 2, we're bringing you a series of conversations around our theme. We've talked about Royal

0:13.3

Spouses, Presidential Marriages, and now Dead People. Okay, a lot of the people we talk about

0:20.1

are long gone. But today, we're talking with humorist Mo Raqqa about his great podcast

0:26.3

Mobituaries and the Art of the Obit. Mo, it's so cool to get to talk to you like this.

1:41.8

may relate. I think in a way, those second place finishers are important because

1:48.3

they're the second place finishers are the ones that make the pioneers, the first place finishers

1:54.9

the start of something big rather than just a one-off or even an oddity.

1:59.8

I think that's such a great point.

2:01.9

Yeah, without the second and the third, then Jackie Robinson is still incredibly important,

2:08.1

but not in the same way. That's right. Didn't forge change so much as just

2:13.5

bucking a system. I'm wondering if there was, I know that you were partially inspired by
