Good afternoon, everyone. It's Dr. Niagara again. Our next episode of Psychology Unplugged.

It's an absolute pleasure to do this on a weekly basis, and I appreciate your feedback and your comments.

We just try to present information to demystify mental health, legitimize it, destigmatize it,

and offer information that's based in years of training and education, clinical experience, and just day-to-day knowledge,

which is very different, I think, than what is portrayed a lot of times in the media or in books and you know there's no shortage of

topics to this but I have over the last few months become more organized and planning

these out of you know so very organic and I make my notes, and I think I

have more difficult, more difficulty reading my own notes than I do actually being able to

write them or give the gist. But a heartfelt thank you. And I'm going to continue on because

I've had a lot of people say that they really like the last two episodes.

And again, there's no shortage of topics.

But I wanted to continue on this journey with everyone's favorite topic, borderline personality disorder.

I do like, so the last two episodes, I kind of use the conceptual framework from the authors

of Stop Walking on Egg shells, how they, again, these are non-clinical terms.

You will not find these anywhere in any of the psychiatric diagnostic manuals or relevant peer-reviewed literature.

But the four types were really the witch, the queen, the waif, and the hermit.

And I'm approaching this.

I've done several episodes.

I'm kind of deconstructing and explaining borderline personality pathology from the more from the clinical, psychopathological perspective of symptom manifestation

and how it kind of manifests in families and individuals.
