So tonight, I'm going to be talking about the defensive behaviors and survival routines that we are formed in childhood and outstay their usefulness into adult life and become what are often referred to as

maladaptive coping strategies, but there's many names fast automatic ingrained reactions so hopefully

that'll be worth your attention and then in all childhoods to varying degrees there are stressful periods in our

family systems and in our

school systems, in our environments, in our school systems.

In worst cases, these are referred to as adverse childhood events, and they involve or can involve

rather dire experiences such as physical, sexual, or emotional abuse, extreme neglect, alcoholism or addiction in one's household,
