And so tonight, green monster of envy we're going to be talking about.

Start off by contrasting jealousy and envy.

So jealousy is fearing the loss of a connection

with an attachment figure due to the intervention of a third individual.

So jealousy is when we have an attachment to someone

and there's a perceived threat that that attachment will be broken by an interloper, by a third party.

So individuals can feel jealous of a friend, of a romantic partner, children can be jealous of their caregivers attention if they feel someone will take away their caregivers
