covering Indecision. I don't know if I've given a talk on in decision before. I've certainly

in given talks in the past, I don't know, 17, 18 years about making big decisions and so I'm sure I covered a bit of it in the past but

indecision is certainly in the past but indecision is certainly in the counseling work I do is certainly a

regular feature and it's certainly a state that causes understandably people a great deal of discomfort.

So indecision or mixed emotions occurs when a choice we face elicits two or more underlying emotional states.

And I'll talk about why the emotions or feelings are important in a little while, but when we are

stuck, when we can't make a decision, it's generally because it activates two different emotional states and very often

they're opposite or very different in valence how you feel.
