Hello and welcome to best laid plans. This is your host Sarah Hart Unger, and this is the podcast where we talk all things planning and planning adjacent. I am very excited about today's episode. It's actually very topical for me right now. I don't know.

I'm struggling with some of my own long-term projects. The good news is that I don't feel stressed

about them per se. My systems work well enough that I know what I have of my plate. I know

that everything that's on deadline is manageable. I know what my have on my plate. I know that everything that's on deadline is manageable.

I know what my priorities are. And yet I have a few bigger projects that I have taken note as I did

And one of them involves my home. I've talked previously about how I'd really like to just

get things more organized. I've tried a number of things, and along with organization,

is just creating a space that feels beautiful and welcoming and that provides the function that I

want in our home.

And certainly we have the basics.

You know, we have a table to eat.

The kids have places to work, et cetera.

But there's just a lot of clutter.

There's not a lot of attention to detail.

And I don't know, my house is just a little bit of a disappointment to me right now, especially since I did set that as one of my primary goals for 2024. So when I received a

consideration to interview today's guest, I thought this would be perfect because she's

a decorating expert, but I can tell she's also very passionate about how people use their

home and creating a space to truly live in. And I thought she might have some useful tips
