I realized that I've really singled out only one morning beverage, so I'd like to welcome

Today's episode is inspired by a new audiobook that I've been listening to by Joe D'Aspensa

called Becoming Supernatural.

Many of my friends over the years have recommended this book to me, and now, after being knee-deep

in it, I'm almost mad at myself that it took me this long to pick it up.

The only reason why I even decided to start was because I was driving up to New York to

see Alex Edelman on Broadway.

He was on my podcast, so if you haven't heard the episode, go listen, and the drive was

two hours long.

I didn't want to fill my ride with music because I feel like I take a lot of wrong turns

when I'm driving, so, and if I'm listening to music at the same time.

So instead, I clicked on the first book that was in my library, and it just happened to

be Becoming Supernatural.

I'm not going to spoil the book for you because you yourself deserve to experience it, but

I will talk about the first story that's mentioned in the book so that you can understand

how powerful the entire thing really is.

The book opens up with a story of a woman named Anna who was going through a really, really

hard time.
