Few people can say they've met Saddam Hussein, Tony Blair, Queen Elizabeth

2nd and Dennis Rodman. In fact I suspect that's a party of just one.

Today's guest has been a national political figure for more than 35 years. For much of that time he was a

labor man, a labor MP, but over recent decades he's been at war with labor that

started with the war in Iraq 20 years ago. Indeed he's run and won against

Labour Party candidates repeatedly, most recently in the Rochdale by election

earlier this year.

I'm talking of course about George Galloway,

MP and leader of the Workers Party of Great Britain

who are planning to stand hundreds of candidates at the next general election.

Now some things you will hear in this interview you will probably find offensive.

I certainly found them offensive, particularly Mr Galloway's views on abortion and on LGBT people.

I found them shocking. Frankly, I found them dangerous, which is all the more reason to broadcast them.

And that's because Mr Galloway is, once again, a national political figure, and it's important

that his views on a range of topics are known.

He's not a fringe figure, he's a member of parliament,

and the party he leads is quickly gaining a national profile.

In fact, I disagree with much of what Mr Galloway said on various social issues

to such an extent that were I living in Rochdale those comments would stop me from voting for

him.

Something I certainly would have considered given his vocal support for Palestine over the past

months and indeed over many decades.
