Hey pioneers. Welcome to episode number 445. Today's episode is a fun one bringing back a much beloved guest and this episode is not only packed with ways to approach home butchery, especially of larger animals.

is the topic of villages and community.

And it's really interesting because just this week,

in a conversation that did not involve Andrea at all,

this has come up. And it's surrounding that of being a community is probably a little bit more

towards what we would speak of and know today,

but it's really going back ancestral wise

to what one would have had in your villages,

which were communities.

But kind of talking about that and how we've lost that for a large portion or a large part in

today's society especially even within inside the homesteading niche and where

that's missing,

how it affects us, because it truly does affect us

both as homesteaders, but also as society,

and that also of butchering and the act of raising livestock, harvesting livestock,

you can use whatever word you want there, harvest, kill, slaughter, butcher, it all

is ends up being the same end result, but how being so far removed

from that, the consequences of that
