Hello, welcome back to Scripture Central. We get to finish the Book of Ether today. And I'm Lynn Hilton Wilson.

0:06.3

And I'm Jack Welch, and we are so glad to be with you as we are coming close to the end of this study year with the Book of Mormon.

0:15.2

We have a conclusion here with the end of the Jaredite people. And Chapter 12 is one of my favorite chapters in the whole Book of Mormon.

0:23.6

We're so fortunate to be able to dive in to study.

0:26.6

The prophets have recorded to us on developing faith and hope and even charity in our lives.

0:43.7

Chapter 12 begins with a little biographical information about ether.

0:44.6

A good prophet.

1:34.7

come back to their tradition and repent, and saying unto them that by faith, all things are

1:41.0

Isn't that a beautiful image? Especially in this text where he's just been writing about the Jaredite travels.

2:01.6

The anchorless travel that they went through.

2:03.6

Yeah.

2:04.6

And we do not need to be anchorless.

2:06.6

Faith will provide that.

2:07.6

But that faith will make them sure and steadfast.

2:11.6

Always abounding in good works and being led to glorify God.

2:14.6

Well, that was Ether's message, but the people rejected it.

2:17.7

And they wouldn't believe because they didn't see these kinds of things happening around them.
