What's going on everyone? We're now in Connecticut. We're here with Anthony Fantano. We're going to talk about some music recommendations. And it's the start of summer right now. It's nice outside. And I wanted to ask you, Anthony, for starters, like, does your rotation change around this time of the year? Are you listening to certain genres more than others, certain artists more than others? What do you sing? As far as I guess my mood goes, I think when it's like fall and winter that sort of like drives,

that makes me put certain moodier albums in rotation. So, I mean, I guess by virtue of that, yeah, probably.

Yeah, probably.

Although, you know, I guess like summer, it's a lot of poppier tracks.

It's a lot of louder, rockier tracks, you know, stuff that's not as moody.

I've been listening to the classic Queens of the Stone Age record songs for the

deaf a lot.

Nice.

I've been listening to quite a few tracks off of that.

That's, you know, just like anything that sounds good with all the windows down in the car.

Yeah.

I feel like the same way about summer.

And we've spoken about this on the audio podcast before how like summer, like especially for your rotation has to have kind of more of like a light mood to it has to be

kind of more bright and uplifting yeah more uplifting in comparison to some stuff that you put on in the fall

like you said that has to be more moodyer maybe a bit darker but you obviously review a lot of albums man

so like how hard is it to be able to have stuff like stick in your

rotation and like, how much stuff do you actually like review that actually comes through in

your rotation? Yeah, sometimes it's like really hard to, you know, dig super deep into that like

mood that's going along generally with the time of year because, you know, regardless of what time of year

it is, I always have to be listening to new stuff.
