In this podcast, I talk about why you may be feeling weak and faint after fasting for 20 hours. I also share what you need to do to overcome this and get to that next level of fasting. 


If you’re doing intermittent fasting, that’s fantastic. Intermittent fasting provides a ton of benefits that you should definitely be taking advantage of. But, if you start feeling weak while fasting or light-headed while fasting, it can make it challenging to continue. 


You may make it 20 hours give or take and then you have low energy or even no energy, and you can’t make it further. This is one of the more common side effects of fasting, but there are ways to handle it.

when they're fasting at 20 hours.

So they can't seem to get past that 20 hour mark.

Now, for you it could be 24 hours, it could be a little longer,

it could be a little bit shorter.

So let's discuss how do you advance to the next level

without feeling weak or faint. So realize this, we're going from glucose metabolism to

running on ketones and fatty acids, okay?

That process does take some time.

It's going to take a lot longer if you have preexisting diabetes,

if you have insulin resistance really bad it could take months and months and

months. So let's say for example you're at two meals, okay? Your first meal is at 2 o'clock in the afternoon.

Your second meal is at 6, and then you fast for 20 hours.
