Trigger warning: in today's episode, we're having a powerful discussion around men's mental health, including conversations around suicide + suicidal thoughts, anxiety + panic attacks, and the depths of the dark nights of the soul.
Today we're joined by Chase Chewning of Ever Forward Radio , a repeat and continually powerful guest on the show. This past year, Chase has been presented with the challenge of a lifetime - after finally healing from the PTSD of his father's death almost 2 decades ago, Chase was faced with a new challenge: navigating the lowest mental health period he's ever experienced, including debilitating panic attacks. To top it off, this mental health crisis hit him during a period of massive business growth. Today's show is a story not just of resilience, ubt extreme, unfiltered vulnerability of what it means to truly embrace yourself even and especially in your darkest times, the importance of conversations around men's mental health, what it means to "lock it up" so you can do what needs to be done in the moment without being overcome by your feelings, letting past versions of yourself heal and serve you, and how to keep showing up for yourself, your work, and your family even and especially on your worst days.
Thank you to Chase for coming fully openly, authentically, and vulnerably to help facillitate one of the most powerful episodes in EMBody Radio history.
