We're getting new accounts from people who escaped a deadly mass shooting Thursday at Florida State University in Tallahassee. I was actually talking to somebody that came by our booth and then that's when we started hearing the commotion,

started to see everyone running from all these directions, and then I just ran off that way.

I felt my shoes come off, didn't care, just kept running that way.

She was working at a vendor table on campus when she heard a series of pops.

Here's what we know.

The suspect 20-year-old Phoenix Eichner is an FSU student,

according to the university. He's accused of killing two people and injuring five others. A doctor

says they're expected to survive. Eichner was taken into custody after being shot by university

police. Police tell Siena and the suspect, quote, "...received significant injuries," and quote,

"...will remain in the hospital for a significant amount of time before he's taken to a local detention facility."

Authorities say Eichner is the son of a local sheriff's deputy, and that a gun he used belonged to the deputy,

according to officials and records.

Reed Seabold, an FSU student, told T, told CNN Eichner was kicked out of a political club
