Stewardship, then, is not just a focus on money or material things, but also encompasses every spiritual blessing. In this study, making the most of all God

has given, Scott Pauley teaches biblical principles for Christian stewardship. One day, we will meet God

and give an account of how we have handled all of the resources he has put in our hands. Let's listen intently to learn how God

expects us to steward his resources.

I must confess to you that I have never been extremely strong in mathematics. Now perhaps some of you mathematicians are listening to me right now

and chuckling because that's an area in which you are gifted. Just remember you're stewards of that.

But I bring you to 1st Corinthians chapter 4 today to this powerful word where the Bible says,

let a man so account of us. Did you hear of the accounting word?

He uses a mathematical word because he's giving the idea, the understanding that the Lord

has certain principles, fixed principles by which our lives are measured and our stewardship is measured. I remind

you that God's ways are higher than our ways and God's thoughts are higher than our thoughts. And if

that is true, then what we are coming to here is the true higher math. This is not of man.

This is really of God.

And I want to tell you that things are figured differently in heaven's accounting office.

Now, we've established a number of principles already.

We've talked about the fact that we've received everything from God,

that we will be regarded by people in some way,

and the greatest way to be regarded is simply as servants and as stewards.

And then in our last study, we discussed the one thing that God requires.

What is that?

It is required in stewards that a man be found faithful.
