Stewardship, then, is not just a focus on money or material things, but also encompasses every spiritual blessing. In this study, making the most of all God

and give an account of how we have handled all of the resources he has put in our hands. Let's listen intently to learn how God expects us to steward his resources.

In any serious job, there are always requirements.

Even in school, there are certain requirements, requirements expectations stated tasks and goals but do you know

that when you serve the Lord with your life there really is one requirement I love how simple

the Lord makes things for us he keeps it simple that cuts through a lot of complexity and chaos and confusion,

doesn't it? Today we come to the one requirement, just one that he gives for his stewards.

It is found in 1 Corinthians chapter 4. We'll read verse one again, and I'll read into verse number

two, a famous and familiar verse, but I hope it'll take on a whole new perspective for you today.

The Bible says, let a man so account of us as of the ministers of Christ

and stewards of the mysteries of God.

Moreover, because of that, moreover, it is required in stewards that a man be found faithful. There it is. The one

requirement, that's the whole thing. You simply have to be faithful. You don't have to be famous.

You don't have to be the most gifted person. In fact, it's very interesting that often talented people make a mess of things.

And I think one of the reasons for that is that even God's gifts and blessings are curses until they're yielded to him.

And I've seen young people in educational institutions who were the most gifted, the most capable,

everyone just knew they were going to excel, and then instead they make a mess of things,

or they do nothing.

And then you have some person that no one thinks very much of, but they end up making a powerful

difference.
