In this edition, I indulge in one of my most favourite things to do, foraging.

John Wright is someone I've been wanting to meet for ages.

He's made a name for himself through the various books he's written for the river

cottage guides about mushrooms, the edible seashore, hedgerows and booze. They all share the theme

of how forage materials can be turned into beautiful and delicious food and drink. And now he's

published a book about foraging all year round. He's based in Dorset normally, but recently visited Scotland,

where he regularly takes people out on seashorees.

I met him on a beach in East Luthian,

where he took me on a wonder to find some things I'd never heard of.

It's a perfect still evening now, no, or late afternoon.

It's gorgeous, actually actually because it was raining

quite a lot earlier but now it's easing off and the light's changing, isn't it? Yeah, it's just

glorious. It's so peaceful down here and there's a few people walking their dogs and it's just

enormous vista. You can see the waves breaking in the far distance.

It's about half a mile away where the water is still deep.
