All right. Thanks for tuning in today folks. I am bombing down the highway in Alaska with my good

pal Joe Kennedy. We've hunted together off and on for most of our lives and we are embarking on a fantastic

adventure here.

Moose, Caribou, Black Bear and Wolf tags in our pockets.

We're flying in on a DIY drop camp hunt and hoping to each take at least one good animal.

And if we're lucky, maybe a couple.

Joe's driving, we're in an old Dodge pickup, a little half ton,

a single cap pickup that we've rented from an acquaintance up here in Alaska, and we're heading down the highway.

Now we've just passed a lake on our left side.

Joe pointed out that the surfaces dappled with rising fish.

If all colors are coming, we can see yellow and orange in the groves of trees along the highway. The highway itself is always an

adventure too because the permafrost makes it heave and buckle throughout the

winters and even sometimes in you know late into the late spring and early fall

and so the roads are unpredictable just a beautiful beautiful time a year to be in Alaska heading on a hunt.

And we're going to get a unique perspective on this episode from Joe because although he's

hunted most of his life and he has hunted Alaska for Moose once

before unsuccessfully.

That was quite a different type of trip and adventure and we're going to just swap ideas, expectations, some cautionary things that we're looking

out for and so forth.

So man, Joe, I'm awfully glad to be rolling down this highway with you today.

Yeah this is a high adventure for me. I don't travel a lot on an airplane with a gun. And so checking it was a new experience,

you know, since the last time I went was years ago. so you know having to get everything in the case and
