and settle in. It's story time. Hello, welcome back. I think I may have just had a visitor from our book not too long ago. I was standing at the window and on a ledge right outside my, right outside my window, there was a giant

crow and it had a kind of

sparkly something in its mouth. And it just kind of turned to me for a minute and then flew off. And

this, I think, is the chapter where you might notice why that felt to me like a visitor from the book. So that was kind of interesting. But

anyway, hello, and welcome back to Storytime for grownups. I'm so glad you're here, as always.

I'm so glad that you have found us if you're just finding us. I've been reading all the reviews

that everyone has been posting, and I'm so touched. I'm particularly touched, I think,

by people who are writing in to say they're stay-at-home moms and they're listening to this

while they fold the laundry or make the dinner and, you know, that's a situation after my own

heart because I also am a stay-at-home mom and I do those same things in my day. And so I love to think about you

listening while you do those very familiar to me things. So, but whatever you're doing while you're
