Syria this week I spoke to Labor's John

McDonald and Conservative MP Andrew Mitchell, as well as the former weapons inspector

Jerry Smith. I was also joined by ex-Yukip leadership contender Stephen Wolfe to discuss

immigration and his former party. A chemical weapons attack in Syria this week killed almost 90 people, including dozens of children.

All the evidence suggests that this was carried out by the Russian-backed government of Bashar al-Assad.

In response, Donald Trump ordered missile strikes on the air base

from which the attacks were believed to have been launched.

This split the Labour Party.

Deputy leader Tom Watson came out in support of the attacks,

but leader Jeremy Corbyn said America shouldn't have acted alone.

And despite the positive headlines about a new school meals policy announced this week,

the party also faced further accusations about anti-Semitism,

after Ken Livingstone was only suspended for comments he made about Hitler.
