Officials are now saying Brian Coburger, the suspect charged in the quadruple homicide of four Moscow-Idoz students,

was investigated in connection with a home invasion that took place before the murders in a neighboring city.

Newly released body camera footage shows police responding to an alleged home invasion in October of 2021 in Pullman, Washington.

It's a little over a year before and about 10 miles away from where the

University of Idaho students were fatally stabbed. The woman in the video says she heard her door

open and someone was wearing a ski mask and had a knife. She says she kicked the intruder in the

stomach and he flew back and ran out the door. The details were similar to the quadruple homicide,

so 13 days after Coburger was arrested in the Moscow case,

he was named a person of interest in the Pullman case. However, it was short-lived, as the suspect

in the latter case was said to be 5-3-5-5, and Koeberger stands at six feet tall. The Pullman case
