Back all the way up from 1 John chapter 1 to Genesis chapter 1, both of these chapters,

of course, referencing the beginning. And here's what you'll find.

When God created the world, the first thing he created was light.

He just simply said light and it was good.

And we read in Genesis chapter 1 and verse number 4,

God saw the light that it was good and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light that it was good, and God divided the light from the darkness.

And God called the light day and the darkness he called night. Our God has always been a
