In a world of relativism, you hear people sometimes say, I want to tell my truth.

You need to tell your truth.

Dear listener, there is no such thing as my truth and your truth.

There's only truth.

Truth is truth, and all truth is God's truth.

And for us to speak the truth, to say the truth, to live the truth,

simply means that we have come into agreement with Almighty God,

the God who is himself the truth. We come again today to 1 John

Chapter 1 to find yet another one of the marks that we are a child of God and one of the ways

that we can know for sure that we have passed from death unto life. We've discovered, first of all,

that those who know the Lord have believed on Christ

and been born again. Not only that, they have passed from darkness into light, which means

they're now children of the light. They want to live in the light and not content to dwell in darkness.

But now we come to a third mark.

And what is it?

It is this, that a true Christian, a true believer, a true child of God,
