something that I've thought about for a long time

and have strong beliefs on.

Sometimes it'll be more of a cuff,

and I might say I don't really know.

Emily asks, is America in danger of a civil war? This is a question I've thought about quite a lot and I have a strong opinion about.

We have seen political violence be normalized in the United States over the course of the last year.

We've seen the assassination attempts, two of them at this point, on Donald Trump this year.

We have seen the significant political violence in the summer of

2020 and we have seen of course the assault on the capital on January 6th

2021. on January 6th, 2021, the most significant attack on America's democratic institutions, probably

in living memory.

So we know that there is a real possibility of political violence and I do worry
