What a week I had. I was in America, my flight back

got cancelled and so I contacted British Airways and for the same price they just

diverted me through Washington DC so I found myself

in Washington DC for election day hung out in Lafayette Square it all been

sealed off but hung out and Lafayette Square, hung out Black Lives Matter Plaza, which is the road

that leads up to the White House, and then went to watch the results in a bar.

There was less cheering than I was hoping

because it was so desperately inconclusive.

But good result, overall, I thought.

And Joe Biden's climate plan, if you can get it through the Senate, is, well, I mean, it's even

more radical than Bernie Sanders.

So it's going to hopefully inject some of the money that's needed to get the economy going

it's going to direct some of that money through a really ambitious plan for

renewables, wind power and solar power.

Absolutely brilliant.

If they can do that, it's truly going to be,

we're going to lock back and say

where that election was one of the things that really put us on a track to resolving climate

change so fingers crossed on that. I adore his plan there's a link in the notes if you're
