even though it's the last week of May, May here in the United States is Mental Health Awareness

Month. We are, I think, a culture that is very much a hallmark holiday culture.

We pretty much every day of the year has something aside for the major holidays like

Christmas and Easter, Thanksgiving, New Year's.

But then we have, you know, Valentine's Day and Swedish Day,

and then we have Secretary's Day and, you know, Earth Day and all these other days.

And then we decide we pick one month out of the year to bring awareness to mental health.

And that was one of the year to bring awareness to mental health. And that was one of the primary driving factors in the creation of this podcast was to bring

awareness to mental health, not just once a month, once a year, but, you know, at least on a weekly basis, because

it is a topic in a field that I have devoted my life to, my education, my training.

It's what I really live and breathe on a continual basis and

something that I'm extremely passionate about and hopefully that comes across in the podcast.
