today at noon and we'll vote for a new speaker. Today, Speaker Mike Johnson can only afford one.

GOP defector, maybe two. It depends on who shows up today.

Will Speaker Mike Johnson's 14 months reign come to an end as the 119th Congress is seated? Will they even be seated?

Because no Speaker of the House, no House house no certification on january six of the

winner of the presidential election no certification no president let me put it this way

mike johnson spent all of last week at marilago on his knees and he wasn't praying. I'm hoping he was just

begging. But you never know with these sick and demented mental defectives. The new year began

with Donald Trump officially endorsing Mike Johnson for speaker. Nobody knew. A lot of people thought Trump was done with Mike Johnson.

Again, no certification of the election on January 6th without a Speaker of the House.

Two years ago, when they were beginning the 118th Congress, the House of Representatives voted three times for a speaker on January 3rd.

Kevin McCarthy couldn't get there on January 3rd,

so they adjourned.

And over several days and 15 ballots,

Kevin McCarthy finally became speaker.

I was back when I knew how to shave.

He became speaker in January of 2020,

only to be forced to vacate his seat in October of that same year.

Now, when McCarthy was tossed to the curb in October of 2023, we went 20 days without a speaker.

Remember, this was October of 2023.
