In this podcast, I'm going to talk about keto and veganism. I'm also going to give you my opinion on "The Game Changers" movie.
My viewpoint is, if you want to go vegan, you should do it. I have no problem with that. The only challenge I see is if you do it unhealthily.
My ultimate goal is to get people to eat real food. The problem is defining what real food means. Essentially, as long as you're getting your nutrients and your fuel—you're eating food.
It can be difficult to get all of your nutrients being vegan. Nutrients like:
• Zinc, iron, calcium
• DHA
• B12
• Vitamin D
As long as you're getting all of your nutrients and your getting high-quality protein, you can be a vegan and be perfectly healthy.
If you're trying to lose weight, you have insulin resistance, you're prediabetic, or you're diabetic, it can be more difficult to be a vegan.

0:56.7 | The only challenge I have is if you do it unhealthily. So if you look at some of the videos right now, |
1:02.3 | the critiques on this movie, they're going back and forth in certain points with the athletes, with different studies. I'm going to take this in a different direction. So my ultimate goal is to basically get people to eat real food. |
1:18.0 | Now the problem is defining what that means, right? So I'm just going to take the definition of the word food on the dictionary. |
1:26.4 | That which is eaten to sustain life, provide energy, and promote the growth and repair of tissues. |
1:35.0 | Nourishment. It comes from the derivation, |

1:55.0 | Iron is more readily available in animal products. |
1:58.0 | However, on the flip side of that, there's a lot of people that have |
2:05.0 | excessive knots of iron, |
2:08.0 | if they have excessive knots of iron |
2:10.0 | because this could be very, very damaging |
2:12.0 | on the liver and the brain. |
