And we're excited to bring you the news. We're bringing you the news a day early this week,

because I've got to do some travel.

But Derek, let's get right into it,

and let's talk about Israel breaking the Gaza ceasefire.

The Israeli military overnight, Monday into Tuesday,

resumed its full-scale bombardment of Gaza, killed over 400 people.

Figures I've seen range from around 404 to 436, although that latter figure, I think,

includes some people who were killed over the day on Tuesday, wounding more than 500 more, local officials.

This has been reported by Dropsite and elsewhere,

Al Jazeer, I think, as well, have tallied up the number of

dead.

Around two-thirds, it seems, were women and children, which contradicts, I guess, the Israeli claim.

Not that we need to contradict these things anymore, but the Israeli claim that they were targeting

specifically Hamas leadership. They did kill a couple of senior Hamas officials in Gaza, the head of the

Ghazan government, the interior Minister of the Ghazan government,

but let's just say their target percentage was not terribly high,

given the overall number of casualties.
