Joseph, you were recently in Panama, and I understand that the U.S. continuing concerns about security in Panama because of the maneuvering of the Belt and Road initiative that has led to the People's Republic of China non-transparently

pushing a great deal of money and influence into Panama.

The President Molino has objected to the presumption that the United States finds the security there inadequate.

Where are we right now in this dance involving Black Rock and its bid to take over the port,

the two ports and worldwide ports of a very well-to-do man in Hong Kong and that man in Hong Kong

coming under the pressure of the Chinese Communist Party?

So, yeah, as we discussed before, John, the Secretary of Defense, Pete Heggs had a tremendous

visit to Panama working with President Molino and his national security team to basically

come to win-win agreements.

We signed, I believe it was three MOUs in one cooperation agreement with the

Panamanian government to basically position our two countries in the best position available

to protect the Panama Canal, knowing that it's a vital strategic waterway for U.S.
