I'm Mark Stephen and this is you and Macalreath.

Yeah, it's chucking it down, but we are in one of the most exciting

locations, I think, in Scotland.

It's a hidden gem. It's the

start of our second odyssey

round the North Coast 500

in our little electric car.

We haven't got a name for it yet, but we will.

We actually finished the sort of first part of our journey at Dunnett Head, which we can see

across the water at the moment.

We've come across to Castle Hill Bay, the harbour, and it's beautiful.

I mean, one of the distinguishing features of Caithness is the Caithness slab.

You see it being used for all sorts of things. I mean, not just building, but you know, the harbour here, some of it is vertical, some of it is horizontal. It fits together like jigsaw. It's beautiful. You see Caithness slab on the roof of stuff. They use it as fencing, all sorts of things. But it also travelled the world. Now, I came here many years ago, and this harbour, we'll put some photographs up on Facebook.

It is stunning. It's unique. It's perfectly preserved.

But it's a global significance.

It's not the greatest of the weather.
