I'm on the phone with Ashman, and today we are discussing Pet Cemetery from 1989, directed by Mary Lambert, written for the screen by Stephen King, based on his 1983 novel of the same name,

starring Dale Midkiff, Fred Gwynn, Denise Crosby, Miko Hughes, and Brad Greenquist. In this film, when a father discovers a burial ground that brings back the dead,

he learns that sometimes dead is better.

This was requested by Troy and Matt L.

And yeah, this is a movie that I saw in my childhood.

And like many, I was haunted by the sister Zelda.

I think a lot of people, like that is the one thing that sticks with them in this movie.

And it's interesting because it's just like a weird little side plot that has surprisingly

little to do with the rest of the film, but we'll get into that in the review.

I feel like you'd seen it as a kid,

right? I think similar to you. Yeah, I'd seen it as a kid. It's funny because I don't really

remember Sister Zelda from their first watch. What stuck with me more is that knife slice to the

back of the heel. I think that's like an image that's like, it was haunted me growing up.

And yeah, I was kind of excited to see that play out here again. But for you, Sister Zelda?

Yeah, for me, it was Sister Zelda. But yeah, I've seen a lot of people on the internet also.
