Hi, this is Jonathan Lehman. What you're about to hear is a four-minute excerpt from a conversation

that Mark Devere and I had about the coronavirus at the beginning of the pastor's talk to be

released next week. So you'll hear this again in next week's Pasture's Talk. Nonetheless,

because we thought it was relevant for the moment, here's the four-minute conversation we had

about coronavirus. Well, there's one thing I want to talk about. A big topic I want to talk about

today, but very briefly, just take a minute or two on this. Just a lot of people have been

asking me, and this is a very time-intensive or time-sensitive question. A lot of people

are asking me about coronavirus and whether or not churches should gather or not gather and what we should say to our churches. Should we be sensitive to people, especially people

in trouble need? Should we tell them not to come to church? What role does the government have? Can

the government tell us not to gather? This sort of complex of questions. Do you have any general

counsel for- Yeah, I can talk about this for a couple of minutes. You want me to just... Two minutes.

And then we'll get to our real topic.

We talked about it to our church last Sunday.

So we were maybe a little head of the curve just because we had a large congregation.

We told older members, feel free not to come for a few weeks while the numbers of infection

are growing.

We told people who were sick.
