From the Jill Schwartz Memorial Library here in Soltree, Savannah, this is obscure season

four. In American Tragedy, I'm your host, your friend, your

lover, and literary Mansplainer in chief, Michael Ian Black, a little bit amped up because I have

just concluded a nearly two-hour conversation with the

creator of Dilbert Scott Adams. Scott Adams, as some of you probably know, maybe most of you know,

has gone from sort of middle brow syndicated newspaper cartoonist

to right wing provocateur.

His cartoon was dropped after I guess he drew a racist cartoon or a series of racist

cartoons I actually don't know because I haven't looked into it it's not germane

to this conversation but since then he's taken a very notable jarring turn to the right

and has a daily show where he talks to his many many many, many followers on Rumble

about all sorts of things.

COVID, conspiracy, climate change, hoax,

why Trump is terrific, why Biden is terrible, etc, etc.

Just, you know, sort of the typical right-wing talking points.

And a few days ago, he wrote on Twitter, it's impossible to have a political conversation

with somebody who thinks the news is real unquote. Now I responded to that

tweet not directly to him I don't follow him but I had seen that somebody

happened to write that so so I quoted it.

And I basically said, well, if that's true, where are all these MAGA people getting their information?

If you don't believe any of the information you receive, how do you source your information?

That was the initial question and that cascaded into days and days and days of people telling
