It's common sense with Dan Karlin.

Let me ask you something and I don't think there's a right answer.

So don't stress about it.

But what do you think would happen if the United States changed its foreign policy in any meaningful way?

And look at how precariously the world seems balanced sometimes and how there's a global security

framework for much of the planet ingrained by over 50 years of enhanced tradition and interaction

and cooperation and agreements and alliances?

What do you think would happen if that system were questioned?

And what do you think would be the reaction if somebody actually tried to alter that system in any

meaningful way? And I don't just mean the reaction in terms of people who don't want it altered,

but in terms of outcomes that might occur if it were altered.

Let me tell you what I'm talking about this.

Yesterday John Kasich ended his campaign for the Republican nomination for president.

The importance of this was magnified by the fact that the day before that Ted Cruz did the same thing.

And all of a sudden, regardless of whether he has that magical number you have to have to avoid a

contested convention, there's only one guy who's still apparently running for the Republican nomination

for president who's still there. Donald Trump.

And I have to tell you along with a lot of other people, I find the entire thing inconceivable.

Inconceivable. And I was one of everybody else who was wrong about how far he would get in this thing.

Part of what makes this next election again. So now off the books in terms of the bedding line,

you can't even figure out what's going to happen is I don't think we've had a non-politician

get this far in the race for the White House. Maybe ever. I mean, the last 100 years,
