As we sit down to record this podcast, closing arguments are wrapping up in former President Trump's

criminal trial in Lower Manhattan. The question at hand is whether Trump is guilty of falsifying

business records in connection to hush money payments to Stormy Daniels during the 2016 presidential election.

This, of course, marks the beginning of the end of the first criminal prosecution of a former American president

and it will soon be up to the jury to decide exactly how this all ends.

On one hand, the stakes are historic as I mentioned the
