Hey Louis, how you doing?

Good to see you brother. I'm very excited about this. You've been teaching the world about money, mindset and all things figuring out and understanding their money for a long time now. You've got over a million subscribers on YouTube.

You're a lawyer but you're also an entrepreneur in a big way, content creator. And I'm curious, we were talking about this beforehand about the different things we wish we would have known about money growing up.

Because I didn't know anything about money that much growing up. You made some mistakes financially when you were getting into the entrepreneur business, you talked about this on your channel.

What is the big thing that you wish everyone knew about money before they started making it?

Oh man. Well it goes back to, I guess just the basics. Because most of us, myself included, are never taught a thing about money.

We're told, go to school, get a degree, get a job and all you figure it out. And then what happens for the majority of people is you end up broke, you end up struggling financially and you can never figure out why.

So the first thing is what is it that you want to achieve in your life financially?

And then you have to go out and figure it out yourself because unfortunately school will never teach you this stuff.

So you didn't learn this in high school or university of Michigan or law school that didn't teach you any of this stuff?

I went through high school, I went through college, I went through one year grad school and then I went through law school and I never once learned to think about money.

Never once learned to think about budgeting, never once learned to think about building wealth, never once learned to think about investing my money and never once learned to think about passive income.

Here I am today with a law degree and I haven't worked a single day as an attorney. Why not? Well, it doesn't make sense for me financially and it's not my purpose.

So I grew up in a traditional Indian house.
