June is a year in three quarters now, is that right?

Yep. Yeah, nice memory.

Little baby June's not so little anymore.

She's toddler June now. She's pretty feisty. Yeah. Do you feel like you've

gotten to the stage where you stop, I think it happens to every parent's like where you start to sort

of imagine her future? Not necessarily like your future together, but like the things she might

become. A little bit. Actually, just today hiking out from the crag with my wife, we were talking about

the person that Baby June will potentially grow into, you know, just what we hope to see from her life.

And it's just hard to imagine the world that she'll grow up.

I mean, actually, I think that because it's

so hard to predict the future, it's hard to know what she'll actually live through in her lifetime.

But I think the thing that we're certain of is that we want her to feel comfortable with anything

and to feel confident taking on challenges. I mean, I think my biggest goal as a parent is to make sure

that she grows up unafraid of things. You know, I just don't want her to have weird phobias like, oh, I never go out in the dark

because it's so scary.

And you're like, what? Why?

You know, like, why have parts of your life closed off because you're afraid?

Yeah.

You know, it's like I want her to grow up feeling free to pursue whatever passions she has.

We both have kids, right?

And we're incredibly lucky to be in that spot where we get to have hopes like that, right?
