Hannah Hill, born May 20th, 1981 in Akron, Ohio, was an only child, had recently graduated from

high school, and during the summer of 1999,

was working as an ATM secretary with plans to go to college in a few months.

She was loved by her parents, was extremely popular, had a lot of friends,

and had a boyfriend named Brad O'Bourne, who she lived with for a little bit of time.

Unfortunately, however, the relationship was very volatile and sometimes violent.

So though they were still dating, Hannah had recently moved back in with her parents.

On the evening of May 19, 1999, 18-year-old Hannah Hill came home from work and made plans

to stay in for the rest of the night. At 9 p.m., she changed into her pajamas and went to her room,

where her mother, Kimberly, said she heard her talking on the phone. Then suddenly, at 10.30 p.m., Hannah opened the door fully

dressed and told her mother that she would be back a little bit later. Later, saying her

daughter looked disturbed about something, Kimberly watched Hannah walk out the door, having no clue
