And these are very fast impulses that are not conscious.

They're just activated automatically.

We have, of course, bottom up impulses to not only towards central pleasure,

libidinal desires, but also desires to consume built into us drives towards sugary bright colored substances. We even have built-in courtesy of evolution nurturing impulses.

Now, some of these drives, especially the fight, flight, freeze, if they're run without any control, can lead to social rejection shunning disconnection.
