Serious issues call for witnesses. So when you have a wedding, that's a joyful occasion,

but it's serious. There have to be witnesses. When an accident has taken place, they look for witnesses.

When you go to court, there are witnesses.

The witnesses matter.

They speak the truth.

They speak of what they know.

Well, when it comes to Christian experience, there are many witnesses.

There is the personal witness that a believer gives. There are... Well, when it comes to Christian experience, there are many witnesses.

There is the personal witness that a believer gives, their own testimony of faith,

their profession of faith in Jesus Christ.

That's a vital witness.

There's the witness of others who see a changed life, who see a demonstration of the grace of God and the work of Christ in you.

That's wonderful.

But the greatest witness of all is God himself.

I mean, let's just be honest.

When you get to the end of life and you stand before God, the only testimony that's really going to matter is not what we said or others thought,
