Hello everyone and welcome back to Art Holeoles, the Art History podcast with someone who has no background in Art History,

where there's no real clear or reliable release schedule and where after a while my brain starts to get mushy from all the stuff I got to cram in there and then squeeze back out.

My brain feels smoother somehow. I've got smooth brain and I don't think that's supposed to happen.

I hope everyone's doing well. I am so glad to be back. The last year has been insane for life stuff.

And as you can see, instead of putting out one episode, like a normal person, there's two coming out at once, and they're real long and it's gonna get weird.

A couple of hours from now, from an artistic perspective, we get to really dive deep into the world of cat buttholes.

I, that's not a joke. There's a bunch of stuff on cat buttholes.

Things spiral. I don't know what else to say. Once I started to pull the

thread on some stuff, I couldn't let go. It just wouldn't make sense. There'd be gaps.

And what I thought would be two five-minute transition sections

turned into two segments in this episode that'll be I don't know 30 45 minutes each and

then a third segment next episode that'll be 90 minutes, two hours,

which doesn't even feel like a segment anymore.

And in that long segment, if you thought I mispronounced shit before,

I'm apologizing in advance for what might be the whitest I've ever been and I've been practicing

the words not being white I'm pretty efficient at that I feel like you know me by now this This shouldn't be a surprise, but thank you for

still listening and for having patience with me. I said it in... Oh, it's got to be

Caravaggio now maybe, so I'm well overdue to say it again.

Unless I get hit by a bus, there will be more episodes.

This show is way too fulfilling to give up.
