Darren Woods, the CEO of Exxon, said he hopes Donald Trump will not keep his campaign promise to pull America out of the Paris climate accords.

Now, you might remember Trump pulled out during his first administration.

We returned under Biden, and now Trump is threatening to pull out once again.

According to the New York Times,

Woods, the CEO of Exxon, spoke at the UN Climate Summit in Baku, Azerbaijan on Tuesday, and he said,

if America backed out of the treaty, it would make it impossible to establish a global system for

managing carbon emissions.

The Times says that Exxon urged Trump not to pull out of the accords back in 2017,

but he did it anyway.

His Secretary of State at the time was Rex Tillerson, who left his post as head of Exxon to join the Trump administration.

Rex Tillerson is reported to have once screamed at the top of his lungs while serving in the

White House. Donald Trump is an effing moron.
