Choose a horror movie each week to rate and review. I'm Oshfin, and I'm on the phone today with Brian.

And in this episode, we're going to be talking about the 1998 film Urban Legend, directed by Jamie Blanks, written by Silvio Horta, and starring Alicia Witt, Jared Leto, and Rebecca Gayhart.

In this film, a group of college students are attacked by a serial killer, who murders them one by one using methods depicted in urban legends.

If you are new to our show, we're going to have a spoiler-free discussion for the first 10 to 15 minutes.

Brian, had you seen this film before?

I saw this puppy in the theater 26 years ago, man.

Oh, my God.

I don't think I've seen it since.

That's awesome.

Yeah, I feel like I've only seen parts of it.

I don't think I'd ever, like, sat through the whole thing.

But that's really cool.

So you were at the theaters in 1998 watching this?

Yeah, yeah, 1997 and 1998, maybe even 1996, is around the time my parents just started letting me go to the movies by myself.

And I don't know if we would buy tickets for another movie and then sneak into the R-rated ones or if they would buy the R-rated ones for us or what?

Yeah.

Yeah, surprising amount of movies from this era I saw in the theater.
