So imagine with me for a second that you work for the federal government.

Okay, so it's like not the sexiest most fantastical thing to imagine, but stay with me.

So you work for the government and you work in one of those alphabet agencies that people outside of the government don't

really see or understand, like some division within the Department of Labor or, I'm sorry, DOL,

and you're at your job, you know, in some big, brutalist building in Washington, D.C.

It's late January and just two days after President Trump's inauguration.

And while your job has been

mostly really safe, the new administration is promising that they're going to slash jobs and

radically reimagine big swaths of the federal government. And on his first day in the White

House, Trump issued this sweeping executive order that eliminated any diversity, equity,

and inclusion programs

in the federal government.

And you would hear rumblings and speculation about this, and then you get this pin.
