There's so much cultural Christianity today. I mean by that, a general acceptance of

Judeo-Christian principles, almost a, if I may use this expression, a pop

Christianity, a popular Christianity that has come into being in certain parts of the world where

people think, well, it's just, that's the accepted thing to be. That's the nice, tidy thing to

label yourself. But I want you to know that biblical Christianity is rooted in the person of Christ himself.

And the great test of a person's Christian faith is this, what do they believe about Christ?

Wasn't that the question that Jesus asked himself in Matthew

chapter 22 and verse number 42? What think ye of Christ? This is the great

dividing line you see and not what do you think of God in general terms not what

do you think of a denomination not what do you think of certain issues no the root of the whole matter is this what do you think of a denomination, not what do you think of certain issues?

No, the root of the whole matter is this.

What do you think about Christ?

And so we come today to yet another, the tenth actually,

in our list of identifying principles and assurances of those who are truly a child of God.

And it is found in 1 John chapter number 2 from verse 18 down to verse number 25.

And in a phrase, it is this, there is real allegiance to Christ and Christ alone.
