Dr. Berg talks about several reasons why removing the gallbladder could make you fat. The gallbladder is a sac that holds and concentrates the bile up to 20x. The bile helps with a lot of functions in the body.

Reasons:

1. You need plenty of bile to help convert thyroid hormones

2. High A1C and Blood Sugars – Bile helps to make insulin sensitive. The high amounts of insulin could make you fat.

3. Microbiome, Decrease Flora – Increase weight gain.

4. Constipation – Bile acts as a lubricant and without the lubricating effect, you’ll become constipated and hold a lot of waste material thus increasing the weight.

5. Bloated – Swollen Belly  6. Fatty Liver

So in this video we want to talk about why does removing the gallbladder

0:40.0

potentially make you fat.

0:42.0

Okay? Here's several reasons. One is that you need

0:46.0

plentiful bile to help you convert your thyroid hormones. The thyroid produces T4. It's converted through the liver and the gallbladder

0:57.2

to the active form, which is T3. So if we don't have enough bile and that's what happens when you remove the gallbladder you just

1:04.4

have this trickling effect because the gallbladder is a sack that holds and concentrates

1:10.5

bio up to 20 x okay so we don't have that concentrating effect biot

1:15.8

up to 20 X, okay? So we don't have that concentrating effect, we just have drops come down in a non-concentrating effect,

1:19.6

so we're going to have a bio deficiency. So that can affect the thyroid and make the thyroid be hypo and

1:26.3

salut on your metabolism okay another factor is that without enough bio your a1 can go up, your blood sugars can go up.

1:35.0

Bile helps to make insulin sensitive, okay?

1:38.6

So it's, insulin resistance is a situation where the insulin is no longer sensitive, it's being

1:45.8

resistive.
