In this podcast, Dr. Berg talks about plant pigments, phytonutrients, and antioxidants. Plant pigments are those that give the plant various colors and its purpose is to protect it against viruses, bacteria, microorganisms, and UV radiation. All plants are involved in photosynthesis and part of the function of these pigments is to protect the plants against the harmful part of the radiation.
YELLOW: Stimulate T-Cells and B-Cells to decrease the risk of certain types of diseases
RED: Decrease the risk of disease in the lung, heart, and prostate
ORANGE: Vitamin A (Retina)
GREEN: DNA Repair – Decrease risk of cancer
PURPLE: Anti-bacteria, Detox, Decrease risk of any diseases
